Eighteen months ago my wife and I took turns reading this book aloud. I recall the stories as retold, or shared word for word, brought to life how the Rebbe's circumstances encountering people's problems together with his faith with works brought out and carried into social situations a support for the human condition with a human and positive outlook -- not naïve at all-- just what was needed at the time. Deeply human enriching. Go ahead!

I watched the determination of the crew and imagined their community under pressure, risk of -- and outright -- violence. The close-up's of the birds' various states of health, and their expressions peering at the camera lens/viewer. In the torrent of movies available to watch, this felt healthy for its direction in a real way -- away from non-stop action hero's fighting for ... their salary. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
