I just finished watching "Laapata Ladies". 100/100 for all things related to film making. Movie is set in 2001. We are in 2024. India lies in villages..and truly even rural women have progressed in the last decade. I feel atleast some stuff related to women empowerment shown in the movie is irrelevant in present times for women in India. Yes, surely the film can serve as a reminder to women about women empowerment.
