I thoroughly enjoyed reading Bill Littlefield latest book “Merci”. The dialogues are amazingly well written. They made me uncomfortable at times, whenever they reminded me of a serious injustice in our society. Bill characters are, except for Arthur Baladino, so-called “good people”, but seriously flawed. They all lead separate, often chaotic lives. The novel starts out like a pile of puzzle pieces, but by the end the author provided me with the complete picture.
