Turned it on while eating dinner.
Hated it and turned it off after 5 min.
K pop and fast paced edit is not my style. Initial opening had much information to process with fast paced edit and was too much. Not to mention the 'Kpop Demon Hunters' title felt like it wasn't worth the effort.
But then, looked back at myself and for my prejudice, so gave it another try.
This time, I put on headphone and watched with fully concentrated mindset.
I got blown away. Story, music, character arc, dialog are all perfect.
Critics says story is not perfect, that Rumi's transition is all too sudden. But if look closely with dialog and songs, it has bit rushed feeling but its still perfect. Additional minutes with additional scene would have been too much.

For me, who loves serious movies and films, this has been a life changing experience.
I would never judge someone or something just by its facade alone. What accounts is details and inside. So now, this movie is the favorite movie for me.
I had whole list of favorites, with Gattaca topping the list, but this is now my top one.
Can't wait for my daughter to grow up so I can show this to her.
