My childhood just died………. I think. I’ll be honest. I wasn’t really a fan of this movie. It kind of hurt watching it. Whose idea was it to introduce cg? It come off very clunky and the movement and even characters mouth movements didn’t really line up. Unnescessary transformations! For god sake when did dragon ball become all about transformations? Complete arse pulls to where gohans isn’t even explained. Cell max as a villain wasn’t great either. Cell was such a great character and I think it was a bit of waste to bring him back for 20 mins or so just to have him stomp around and growl however it’s the least problematic out of the problems mentioned. On a positive note: the slice of life was good. Piccolo was good. Pan finally flying right at the end was good. Gotenks and the gammas were good characters. If I were to sum this movie up in one word it would be “meh”. Not a dbs broly but certainly not a bio broly.
