This movie was so age inappropriate, unethical, racist and sexualized. First Chel’s character is imposed of exaggerated body proportions deeply sexualized and she is beautiful but this is not body positivity for the young audience to learn at all. She is barely wearing anything and it’s ok to not be super conservative but seriously? She looks nearly naked, children shouldn’t be taught that to be likeable and beautiful you need to use your body to. What is wrong with this character’s design? For a fact, all the making out with Tulio and the touching was already uncomfortable and inappropriate for children. Love is beautiful but it shouldn’t be all touching and sex. Now the unethical part, the protagonists basically are thieves and they steal gold and have their scams and cons and just practically get away with it. The ending had nothing mentioned about stealing being immoral but instead having them run free and keep living their lives without the consequences. Are they trying to promote stealing? Honestly children should NOT be watching this at all. And all the God worshipping and the sacrifices could lead to misinterpretations of religions being all bloody and killing innocents. This is the worst children’s movie I ever watched, for the fact that it’s 7+.
