I loved this movie. I do not understand the low rating, the other comments by the so-called pros or anybody else who did not become riveted by Blake Lively's incredible acting job. This was not just another role done by a pretty woman, sans depth or story .... she was spectacular, absolutely spectacular. I am a huge fan of the vintage movies I grew up watching. I have seen them all ... the actresses who owned it and built up the great Hollywood list of legends. This role required Blake to transcend and transform - get very down and raw - and she maintained this throughout the film. Honestly - I haven't seen this level acting in a long, long time and not. I don't see it in her contemporaries ... she should have been accolades for the work she did in this movie.
I give kudos to the other actors, incl. Jude Law, and to the writer, Mark Burnell, and the direction by Reed Morano was as spectacular and the scenery.
