“Weapons” was without a doubt an intelligently crafted film that revives classic, original horror with no boundaries. The various perspective storytelling kept me intrigued throughout the entire length of the movie. This horror movie was truly one of a kind, with the viewer never assuming what could happen next. Only excitement equipped with fear is what I felt throughout the entire movie. Also, the timing of its release couldn’t have been more perfect: Summer, with halloween creeping around the corner. The length of the movie adds to its thrilling suspense, with very intricate plug ins of comedic relief that may be hard to catch by the blind eye. If you have any doubts about watching this movie, you shouldn’t in the first place: This is easily Top 10 horror movies of all time. Edit: (SPOILER) I absolutely loved the nod towards “The Shining” when Alex’s parents were chasing him down.
