YAY! This film was a long time coming. I must say I was not ready for the graphic nature of this film though. It was incredibly well made for a lesbian love story based in the late 1840’s in England. I am not sure who rated it but I’d strongly consider watching it with your kids…if you let them watch R Movies. It was the underlying story of a woman in a man’s world in a time of “a woman knowing her place and having no voice, and not getting credit for her hard work and scientific knowledge.” The love story that ensues also is very period correct. Just don’t say I didn’t warn you. 😏😈
