If this was meant to be clever or something, it wasn't. We're obviously meant to look forward to series 2 to find out what it was all about, if indeed the writers have actually decided. I can't imagine many will bother. Utter rubbish.

This would have made a moderately good Am Dram production in a rural village hall. Was Pete's house in the last episode just scaffolding covered in builder's plastic ?

I infrequently watch Silent Witness, but caught the last story in this latest season. It was most certainly one of the corniest, most ludicrous productions I've ever suffered on the TV. Not even the Hammer Horror effects could mask the terrible acting and ridiculous plot. Witheringly bad.

Since the General Election last December, Channel 4 News has returned to being the first class news programme that it was before the Referendum. Standards during the interim period have been shameful. Welcome back, Channel 4 News !
