Bad movie no plot just squeezing cents.

(Slight spoilers) It was not a terrible movie, but I definitely wanted more. The ending was too rushed while the rest of the movie felt oddly slow/overly shocking. I wanted to see more consequences with the character aging, otherwise it pretty much check marked every sci-fi expectation box. Would not watch a 2nd time. Moving on, there’s definitely some plot points that raise eyebrows such as the sexualization of the children. Yes, they’re ‘aging’ but mentally they’re still kids! I feel as though the directors were most proud of those uncomfortable scenes, and really just wanted a shock factor rather than any linear storyline.

I really enjoy this game so far, but I do have some complaints. The lack of character portraits is problematic due to the inconsistency and inconvenience of angles. The townspeople feel beyond bland. Blander than flour. Also something that really drives me nuts is whenever there’s a festival or event it’s all everyone talks about for the upcoming 3 days and then like 2 afterwards too. It’s annoying. Where’s some actual personality? Moving on, makers are total garbage. The categories are overbearing and the lack of stacking is laughable. I want to make 20 lumber? Okay, make 20 makers then. These machines are ugly and time-consuming, plus take up so much space. Finally, the mines. They’re too short. I’ve completed them all and it’s summer of year one. I was really hoping they’d make it like DS cute and there’d be hundreds upon hundreds. Other than that, it’s fun. I like it. Definitely great to have it on switch, and I’m excited for the upcoming dlc.
