This movie changed my life. the animation is stellar, the characters are deep, and nuanced, the plot is unique, unpredictable, and engaging. Marmaduke is a great protagonist, always dignified, and clean. He could probably cook a pretty darn good chili. He has the ears of the chernobyl piglet, and the rendering of a bowling-alley screen when you get a strike. His love interest, Guy, is extremely engaging, and their dynamic is surely one of all time. The murder mystery, among other incredibly dynamic plot points, is a guessing game of mafia. Just like it is! Overall, this movie is a film, and it has- animation. Voice acting was done, and music was had. I wouldn’t exactly recommend this for young children, as it contains scenes, incredibly violent gore, however no fart jokes. One of the sci-fi horror adult mystery drama romances of the year!
