Hands down a 10 out of 10. Lee Daniels didn't disappoint not one bit. I read about the true story and the changes Lee Daniels made to the movie were a great fit. This truly kept me intrigued the whole time. I've watched it twice so far. Literally, back to back. One of the best movies of 2024. I didn't find one thing bad that I could say nor want to change about this movie. However, I do wish it could have been longer. It was suspenseful, had a lot of depth to it. Meaning, it was more than just another horror/thriller movie. It showed lifes struggles, be it financially, it hit on abuse, mixed race. Very thought provoking, it also hit on the spiritual, physical & mental side, and then some. Andra Day, Monique, Glenn Closs, Omar Epps, and Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor were all phenomenal & performed great work no matter how big or small their roles were. A+ to the actors who played as kids. In the end, never rely on others opinions about a movie, always watch for yourself. Sometimes you'll be surprised and find a gem. This is very much an award winning film. Congratulations in advance Lee Daniels and cast.👍
