Let down by a lack of direction and lazy writing. Characters were strangely underdeveloped, their relationships sloppily framed and inconsequential, their plotlines devoid of cohesion. Predictably the concluding episode felt contrived and out of place. Whilst the whole thing looks great and the actors do their part, ultimately, like a can of Guinness, it doesn’t take long for it to go flat.
