I like it a lot!! The scenery was excellent, the theme of the movie was a great morality play...............I felt for the dog, Buck, I felt for Harrison Ford and I felt for the lives of the folks stranded in the small towns in Alaska with their disappointment of no gold. I could not imagine how the book would be any better!

Absolutely loved this movie, to watch the changes in their personalities over the course of the tour, how each helped the other to regain their "self" to become better people. It, for the most part was non-violent, a bit of swearing, but it really did not come across as obscene. Rather humorous, actually. And FAMILY!!!! Loved the scenes at Tony's house for the holidays. I would recommend this movie to every one........great commentary on the Deep South during the late 50's and early 60's.
