This movie is a chef d’œuvre! A raw look at the impact of bullying, in a Japanese elementary school, seen from different characters’ point of view. This movie triggered a wide range of emotions I didn’t expect to have while watching it! A must see!

Perfect days is not my usual type of movies but it was a welcomed breath of fresh air. The film focuses on a Japanese toilet cleaner and his daily routine. Blend of minimalism with a deep reverence to the enjoyment of the simple things in life. The lack of dialogue means that you focus more on the actor body expressions and the essence of his music taste as he is a collector of audio tapes. I enjoyed the quietness of the movie and the reminding of being grateful for what we have in life and taking the time to enjoy what we consider for a given. I truly recommend, as long as you are into existentialism movies!
