Nalla Lawrence

Juror#2 is Eastwood's best since Million Dollar Baby. The plot is quite nivel though it reminds us of 12 Angry Men for 30 minutes or so. But otherwise they are two different films. The performances are excellent but Collette's Southern accent is slightly wanting. The script flows gracefully without a moment's slack. The best part is that the entire narration is kept tight without a moment's sentimentality. In a lesser hand it would have been a tearjerker but in the hands of Eastwood your heart AND mind are pulled into the film and kept there. The final scene makes you want to stand up and applaud. Eastwood is master. The film is a masterpiece. I am going to see it again. It is a MUST.

Dreadful. Stylish but without substance. Bad language. I am sure society does now use language like this but between a teenager and mother is not entertainment. Realism is good but not everyone wants to pay to hear interminable bad language. I exercise my right to switch off. The problem I have paid for it, through my TV licence. A good case for stopping TV licence tax.
