Just re-watched the OG movie and omg the series is different but also very good. The humor is excellently executed. At times it felt a bit rushed since there are only 8 eps and I wished they maybe developed a few things a bit longer. But all in all I love a good underdog story. I hope they get renewed but seeing as how a lot of LGBTQ+ shows are getting canceled left right and center, I won't hold my breathe. The ending does leave it on sort of a cliff hanger on the personal side of things but in terms of the baseball playing the season wrapped nicely and not in a so obvious way.

Geena Davis in her Prime. Still a good watch 30 years later. Definitely picked up on the humor more this time around. Off to watch the new Prime tv series that is based off this movie now, hope it does just as well.

The show pokes fun at a lot of things, there's something for everyone. I wouldn't take things too seriously while watching. Not recommended for snowflakes that think there's an agenda in every tv show these days.
