Super upset by the fact that even though you complete a level, get to a bonfire and save. In the next level if you die you lose EVERYTHING and start over. I don't know, but in my opinion it would of been 10x better if you could keep your items after reaching a bonfire. Like if you die in the next level you just respawn at the end of the last level you finished with all your items... I should of watched some videos on the game and learned this fact before purchasing. From first looks I thought it was gonna be a perfect game for me. Not that I absolutely hate it, I just assumed that you'd be able to collect weapons/armor and build a character. Which you of course can, but dieing starts you back at the beginning with nothing... I also can't figure out how to change my class. It'd be great if after starting a game as a knight, making some progress. Then saving. You could choose to start a game as a mage. I can't figure out how to do it. Simple Google searches aren't helping either. If there is a way to do this I'd really like to know how. I don't know though, the art style is flawless. I love every bit of the theme, the platforming, mobs... its all very great... just not being able to collect objects and keep them is a major turn off for me. I was expecting a game where you traversed never ending catacombs/mines/tunnels/crypts, each one being a new experience, at the same time as building a character. Collecting awesome weapons, spells, and other objects, and being able to keep them after dieing. They delivered on most of that, it's just the last part that really sucks.
