Everyone who is so upset by this movie ruining their children must have never watched Free Willy or Air Bud or Dunston Checks In growing up. These movies have very similar story lines dealing with homelessness, foster care, alcoholism, lying, stealing, vandalism etc....... All of these movies deal with real life things kids may encounter and how to overcome by having a fantastic relationship with an animal. Part of being a parent is actually taking the time to talk to your kids about such topics as you deem appropriate. If you don't think your child is ready then don't have them watch it......Home Alone must be on your NEVER watch list then
