How could u bugger up Persuasion? This totally missed the essence of Persuasion. I suggest don't bother with this just get yourself a copy of the 1995 version staring Amanda Root (the best) or even the 2007 staring the fabulous Sally Hawkins

I'm only a few episodes in. Jessica Raine is superb as Kathryn Parr showing us mixed feelings and the complex dynamic of her husband's affair (grooming?) Of Elizabeth. I'm already loving Romola Garai as Mary looking forward to how she shows her in later episodes. This is historically accurate enough to keep me happy
