WOW! Firstly, let me say I set my expectations very low before watching this movie. Truthfully I didn't set them low enough. We live in an age where we praise mediocrity because no one has the courage to speak the truth. We would rather be part of the flock and follow blindly. The fact this movie has been given so many 4-5 stars is an utter travesty and speaks volumes for the level of cinema out there. May the greats of cinema forgive us that we allowed this garbage to even pass the planning stages. There is nothing new here. The setting is no different to every other horror movie set in the US. The old farm house, the barn etc... The acting is absolutely shocking, and I'm wondering was the director even on set? This movie makes Halle Berry's performance in Catwoman Oscar worthy. Please... for the love of all things don't waste your time or money on this pathetic and feeble attempt at "something new!"
