Amma (mum) has been feeling unwell for the past month or so. She doesn't fancy watching movies, especially now that her health is weak. After dinner today, Acha (dad) took himself to the living room scrolling through an infinite list of movies to watch, as he likes to once in a while. He claims, he "needs to" do this once a week. A stressed man by nature. So I can understand. Acha and Amma were both complaining how they don't make movies no more like they used to. A feel-good story with a beautiful romance, importance of family, genuine friendships and that makes have a good time laughing your guts out.
With $5.99 I rented "A Man Called Otto" from Prime Movies today after 30 mins of frustrated scrolling unable to decide a movie that would be not too stressful to watch with Amma after work.
Let me tell you...They loved it. Both of them were smiling and teary by the end of it. Such a simple story that you can confidently watch with your family on a Friday night after long stressful week :)
