LAME. They need to decide if it's a comedy or scifi or a soap, then engage some writers. It is a good cast, but they have very little to work with.

Love it! For once they've taken a terrific book & kept to the plot (mostly). Love the whole cast, they've bought characters to life for me, especially Amos & Avasarala. Intriguing story is by turns gripping, thought provoking & moves fast. Execution is edgy, large world is complex & challenging. CGI & principles of real physics combined to great effect. I really hope this becomes the standard for great science fiction; there's certainly room at the top.

Only first episode & so impressed. Patrick Stewart appears & immediately we are transported to the Star Trek universe, a place Discovery never approached. We feel the integrity of this franchise may be restored, our dreams of resurrection realised, our faith in that bright future redeemed. Lets hope this heralds a new favourite series begun with old, & continued with new, faces who will entertain & inspire us; which is what we want and expect from Gene Roddenberry's legacy.
