Not a quantum of scifi or solace in this movie. Like the characters portrayed in the movie, the movie itself — its staging, lighting, and tone — fell into a brutal and unsavory compilation of tortured foundational elements which, otherwise, might have evolved with grace and a potential to flourish. Instead, the movie was so overburdened with shadow and ugliness that it fell into a portrayal of searing morbidity. The End.
