This book is the epitome of pretension and a waste of your time. Spread out into 26 chapters when it could have been at the most 15, and with almost no new insight into literature whatsoever. Rather, the author opts to look down his nose at us "lay readers." Don't read this if you don't want the fun sucked out of any of your favorite literary classics.
