I can't do it. The show is interesting. Good dialogue, good characters and an interesting story. But I can't do it. Not again. David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are the writers for the show. If you recognize the names it may be because they were the main writers for Game of Thrones. Remember that one? "Winter is coming"? All that buildup. All that hype. Utterly destroyed in the end by writers who just didn't care. Now we have 3 Body Problem. I'm four episodes in and one of the characters has uttered the words "They're coming." I just can't do it again. Not with these guys. I'll go read the books. Maybe wait 6 years to see if this time they manage to act with integrity and dedication enough to finish what they start.

It you like The Rock, or Chris Evans, you'll probably enjoy the movie. They do a passable job of entertaining the audience for the length of the show. The story was OK, if somewhat predictable, and the production values were pretty good. If you're not a fan of either, definitely skip it.

I enjoyed this spinoff more than the original. Big fan of The Boys. Read the comics when they came out and watched the series when it hit. If you didn't like that one you'll probably not like this one. If you did though, Gen V really delivers. Well written dialogue, characters and a solid storyline. Yeah, there's the usual "The Boys" gross/pervy stuff going on, but it's fairly well reigned in to the extent that it isn't overwhelming. The only scene I'd say that was a little over the top happens early in the series when one of the girls gets her powers as she's having her first period. But that's really the worst of it there. My wife and I binge watched this over two days and we're very much looking forward to season two.
