I thought episode VII was a poor rehash of episode IV and VIII was better but the earlier bar was low. This movie is actually good, it ties up some loose ends from the previous films and actually was an enjoyable film to watch. If only the previous two films, especially VII was as good as this one then I think overall the reviews for this film would be better. I believe low score reviews are just because people were scarred by what came before it.
