Take this with grain of salt review because I haven’t fully watched the series but what I have done is watch band of brothers and the pacific fully through several times. These actors do not look as if they are in WW2 they have Hollywood makeup and it just does not have the feel of the greatest war minor series ever to be created. WW2 was a terrible war and people were dirty and broken down (represented in after each episode of band of brothers) they did not have make up and perfect skin complexion. It just a shame Hollywood cannot make good war movies anymore due to the privileged elite. Last Great War movie I saw was all quiet along the western front.
