A heart touching and a very true story about the life and traps of gulf life. I liked the way the story is written and different characters are introduced into the story. I have already read the story book 9 to 10 time and each time I feel like I am reading it for the first time. This story shows the real fact of the expatriates and not the costly cars or gold. Salute to the great writer.

This book is the deteriorating condition of orphans in the society. Being orphan means independent but at the same time one has to struggle hard for basic things like shelter, security, food, education and so on. The Room on the Roof is one of the finest books ever penned down by this legendary writer. The narration technique is simply gorgeous. I have already read the story book for around 9 to 10 times and each time I read, I feel like I am reading it for the very first time.
