This is a beautifully made film that touches on all the emotions relating to having a family member with Alzheimers. Critics have complained about the film laughing at people with this condition, but don't listen to them please. The subject is treated sensitively, and is informative, despite the scriptwriters using the situation to create humour. Remember, it's just a film! Anyway, see this film if you can, the relationships between the central characters will touch you, Nick Nolte - the grandpa who has advancing Alzheimers, and his grand-daughter, played by his real-life daughter, Sophia. It's hard to believe this is her film debut, the chemistry between them is so evident throughout. Wonderful movie!
