When this movie first came out, I was too young to watch it. Even if I had watched it back then, I probably would have found it boring because I was more into superhero movies at the time. But now that I’m older, I can understand and appreciate the movie more.
I watched it today, and I loved it. I’d give it a 10 out of 10. But I have one big problem — why did they kill Leonardo DiCaprio’s character? Seriously, why?
I could understand if someone we already knew in the movie killed him. That would have made more sense. But the person who killed him wasn’t even a part of the story until that moment. We didn’t know anything about that guy, and he had no real presence in the movie.
If they wanted to go in that direction, they could have at least given the killer some backstory or connection to the main plot. But instead, it felt random and unfair. DiCaprio’s character didn’t deserve to die like that.
Despite that frustrating ending, the movie was incredible. It just hurts that his character had to go out that way.
