Characters are hollow and have no depth, just generic stereotypes of what they are supposed to represent. Plot and storyline is nonexistent and feels like all the events were RNG. Most memorable character is Lincoln because he jumped off a cliff. Critics that like this book only give a good review to not sound racist. If the Marrow Thieves wasn't meant to be anti-racist, the book would have no sales. The book is just overall bad.
