I really enjoyed the book. It would appeal to people interested in farming, as lots of stories of past and present methods. I would have given 5 stars if it had more stories of the animals at Cannon Hall Farm.

I enjoyed this book, but obviously not actually written by Peter Wright. The first part is a repeat of his other book about his early life & career. But it gets better as the animal stories are varied & amusing. It takes us upto Peter leaving Skeldale and starting his new chapter at Grace Lane vets. It's a very enjoyable read.

First book I've read by this author. Modern story involving TV 'scandel' and characters use of social media. I thought the story moved along well , although there were also descriptions of the area but not too long and prolonged. The only aspect of the story I thought strange was why would Vincenti pay Andi to do up the garden at the beginning of the story, when he was only renting the property ? Otherwise I really enjoyed it and would recommend.
