I saw this at the Miami Beach gay film festival called Outshine. It's a funny movie that also addresses many issues in the gay community with comedy. Homophobia, gay parenting, aging issues, inclusion of trans people, race, loss, love, and on and on. Nothing is sacred, little is left untouched. There are parallels to Priscilla Queen of the Desert that are easy to catch. But mostly it's a heart warming film, watching a failing team organize and become a winning team. I loved it.
