Deborah McLaughlin

Enjoyable portrayal of wealthy people, entrenched in the fashion world, who experience the same pitfalls as any other class members as they engage in the futile pursuit of "things" of the world. A more interesting film would have been an historical one that begins with the founder of the family business, continues with its rise in the world of fashion, finally ending with its fall, as this film does. But I suspect it was meant to merely be a vehicle to promote Lady Gaga's acting talent. And she was impressive.
