Finished watching this film. The art is amazing, but I didn't really like the story. It was similar to Beauty and Beast, but that is not why I hated it. I can't understand the story. Sorry! Ending spoiler... I expected the Beast to be a character we knew. Even the father. However being a random kid doesn't make sense. (Forgot how to write reviews.) I've looked at all of the directors movies he did and the only film I liked that he did was Digimon. However I didn't watch Boy and Best yet. Starting now, if the director makes anymore films, I'm gonna have to skip them.

I really wanted to love this series. The song was cool, the characters looks alright. Most of the main characters I enjoyed their energy and connections with each other. Unfortunately, the writers went down the wrong path. Season 1 was not the best, but was cool. I enjoyed most of season 1 and up to ep 6 (small spoiler coming) when they beat a villain. But after season 6 the ideas and character writing went in the garbage. They made a few novelization based on the series and a few books that took placed in series and a few comics were being released after the series, but they stopped writing all together. The series was canceled. Episode 1 had 1.03 million views. Episode 40 had .09 million (90,000) views. The companies need to learn that they can't be scared of systemic homophobia as there was supposed to be a kiss between two females in the series. Too bad this series can not be redone. I wish I could love this. I really do, but it's only alright. It starts good, but season 2 happened and all trash breaks out.

The basketball game itself was very awesome with the cgi, but everything else was just strange. I was never a fan of James at all and the character he palys was just one of those "strict father" cliches that I hate in movies.

Just the idea of this film is stupid. Maybe if you have little little kids, it may entertain them, as it's based on a child show/books. But as I saw the trainer and saw Clifford chased by police, the movie just turned to junk. Why make a cartoon kids show live action in the first place? It's like making a live action callou, magic school bus, or Arthur movie.

I decided to watch this last night; the Winter Solstice. The film has nothing to do with the title. These film titles are bad naming. It deals with dragons and the Summer Solstice. There is one actor many people know. Lisa Ortez. The story seems cool, but the animation is a little dull. It's ok. But please learn to think of a better title. The unicorn only appeared to give a ride and nothing else. It could be titled the "Solstice of the Dragons." Oh, well.

I am trying to find some more goof films. I found this one. the trailer looked sort of cool. The film started out nice, but after mom passed to the spirit world, and as the girl can't move on, the story became very wonky. I know this type of story. Person can't deal with new family members - goes on adventure with new family member - calls them lame, annoying, etc. then realizes how important they are and they they don't need to hold onto the past - accepts new reality. I've seen so many films with that type of story, I get bored of story. Nice cgi. It's not a bad story, but I've seen those types all too well. The "villain" isn't a villain, but just mad at herself. She seems a bit creepy, but seems to have a nice heart; I think.
