One of the most impactful books I have ever read, Beyond Words should be required reading for humans. I finished the book knowing I will be forever changed by what I read. Carl Safina provides the most wondrous and heart expanding as well as heartbreaking account of the non-human animals we share this planet with. I could not speak more highly of Beyond Words, it is more than a book but a call to action.
