gordon cormier, who played aang, sure looks the part… but his acting skill isn’t quite there. in many scenes it just feels like he’s reading off lines “by the book”. i feel bad for criticizing a kid this much. i’m sure he can be great one day but
here he is just okay. i have to be honest that his acting is getting in the way of me fully enjoying this show.
edit: all of the kids’ acting is lackluster. its probably a sign of bad directing.
