Ruth is an unbelievably inspirational character. A strong feminist powerhouse that doesn’t take ANY guff. The poolside armpit hair shots of she/her/them/they are Oscar worthy. I could smell the armpit hair in my living room. The “calling the kettle BLACK” line, muah! Chefs Kiss! I’m so glad Michele and Barack have produced such a masterpiece of American film. Julia Roberts plays the “clueless white idiot who is always racist and can’t believe a black man has a nice house and likes classical music” roll perfectly. Kevin Bacon is back trying to make that six-degrees game into a five-degrees game. He plays the crazy white survivalist like he was born for the part. I’m in awe of this truly inspirational movie. Great messaging: “We are all human, but how did he afford that vacation house and car being a black man?” Fantastic film. I’m gonna go watch it again right now with an even bigger slice of white guilt on my conscious so I can really take it in. Thanks Obama’s! Oscars and Globes better watch out this baby is coming in hot! BRAVO 👏🏽
