!!! Spoilers ahead:
So.. this movie genuinely made me question my existence, from start to finish.
It was creepy, eerie, gruesome, and, most importantly, one of —if not the most — gory films I've seen. At the start, when Deborah started acting strange, the first weird behaviour when she lost her spade, when she started digging the ground with her bare fingers, eating worms and dirt - it was all creepy and all, but NOTHING could prepare me for the final scenes.
Honourable mention: When her switchboard exploded, for a split second, we could see the demon or an entity, some kind of a creature, a spirit that was living inside poor Deborah. That creeped the shit out of me.
The plot, the acting. This movie has definitely made found footage my favourite corner of horror.
Not to mention the cave scene, if you know, you know.
BIGGEST applause to Adam Robitel for having the mind of a genius. Also, I'm concerned because how do you get these kinds of thoughts into your head.
Anyways, must-watch. 4 stars!!!!!
