One of my favorite movies of all time. I haven't seen it in years and decided to watch it today. It's truly epic. Keeps me gritting my teeth, moving my fingers around, and wondering what's going to happen next though I already know the story. Subtitles have to be on because the dialogue is so good. The actors do a spot on performance, the essence of The Joker is truly portrayed and Batman has to experience a true stand off and arc by the end; one that will thrill audiences when they start to understand his change. 10/10 on the soundtrack, cgi is used wisely and only as necessary. One truly feels like they are behind the camera experiencing this crazy and dangerous ride.

The movie had everything it needed to succeed and somehow they managed to make 80% of the movie boring! There's seriously great acting, perfect story and twists, great action, alien gore, even Resident Evil sort of scenes, but it was too slow and too much reveal in the end. I still give it 3 stars because the ending was seriously good, but my friend and I almost walked out because we were seriously falling asleep lol!

Not as good as the first one, but still great. I would give a 4 but that wouldn't be fair since the first one set a very high bar. Great cinematography but perhaps I'm more patient with the arc they built.

A24 Keeps delivering unique movies instead of stupid remakes and everything Hollywood has become. This felt like actual missionaries ( I was one once upon a time). What ended up being cool is that the story was actually good! And it was much more theological than I thought, without forcing people to believe in something but making them question everything at the very end. It's been a few weeks but I might watch it this weekend again.

I mean wow. They really scooped down to boredom. I'm having a hard time knowing what's more boring. The Eternals or this movie. It had all the right characters, plot, etc., but somehow it was still that boring.
