I never write reviews but feel compelled to write about this show. Its an absolute joy! A visual delight. This is right up my street. I love the mix of styles, the 8 bit, animation, stop motion, models for locations and the blend of all of these styles. Sometimes its too fast paced to enjoy and truly savour each incredible scene. A lot of the negative criticism I'm reading are for intentional choices that I consider to be fantastic and what makes the show great. It's brilliant. I love the music, the cast, the performances, the story, the tone - just everything. If you don't like it, I don't think you get it and it's just not for you. It speaks to me. Such an unexpected treat. I hope this is maybe a slow burner and hope that people watch it. It's so much fun!
