Old white CIS male here. I think the one star reviews came into it with preconceived notions.
I thoroughly enjoyed the first three episodes. Riri is a great yet flawed character. She is conceited but brilliant. Has a bit of bad girl in her, but by the end of three, she sensrs something is wrong and has to deal with letting a member of the crew die.
I am looking forward to the rest of the series.
