Finally, a movie made the "Traditional Way". Pure character development for the entire cast not just the lead. Very little C.G.I and almost all practical effects. Each scene was carefully planned, executed and crucial for the entire movie. Matt Reeves(Director) brought a classical view point in his cinematography to a new generation of viewers and brought us completely into "Gotham City" for the first time. There was almost no clear right or wrong in character motives but a "grey/troubled" back story which brought out depth and complexity of each character. The action and pace was well balanced throughout the movie and showed not just strength but vulnerabilty too. When all hope was lost for movie quality production from the golden age of movies, "The Batman" will leave you reimagining what is possible for Hollywood in the 21st century.
