Well where to start with this film…. Starts well at the 24hrs of Daytona and that’s where the storyline should have stayed. Soundtrack and audio that accompany scenes was great. Visuals/camerawork for race scenes was great Everything else was sub standard An Ageing and beat up Sonny returns to f1 after 30years. So even if you said he was 18 when he left this would make him 48…. So we’re already in to eye rolling territory…. (Wait for everyone to mention Fernando Alonso) who is still younger than this and barring one season stayed in F1 and kept up the fitness levels etc The film also shows that the last team on the grid can compete if they use one driver to bump into other cars on purpose to bring out the safety car and get free pit stops every race Also while driving his own race, Sonny Hayes, is feeding the pit wall what his teammate should be doing strategy wise, undoing all of the teams strategy and telling them everything they should be doing and when to the point they are totally redundant and he does this while driving 200mph and purposely driving into other drivers. I know it’s a movie but come on…. Days of thunder is better (even though I’m an f1 fan) Rush is better The Ayrton Senna series on Netflix is better too
