I have just finished the first season. Well, the characters are quirky enough and there are some amusing and dramatic moments. Nothing really special and what might be expected for a show like this. You know what it is that really irks me? The show’s writers seem to be in a competition as to who can use the f-bomb more per episode or have the most references to sexual organs and activities. Unless I am really missing something here, nobody I know lives like that in the real world. It is very tiring and overshadows the talent of the cast and the real comedy and drama potential of the piece. There is some good stuff in this show but please, ‘Safe dick’? ‘Humming vagina’? Give me and Ma a break, okay?
