DON'T PAY THE ENTRANCE FEE Truly one of the worst films I've seen at the cinema, but there are genuinely some inadvertent laugh out loud moments, particularly if you've seen young frankenstein or the original Hammer House of Horror flicks - no one does crazed scientist quite like Peter Cushing Frankenstein looked like a X between the fella from the Gotye video and Thanos' daughter...... Way too many banal speeches in it, and the only highlight for me was some of the cinematography in the Artic and the throw back to hammer house breathless style acting by Mia Goth - she carried herself in this with some aplomb

2 big stars and a big budget = exceptionally ordinary Some nice moments of acting by both, but if this were a drink then it would be the cup of milky tea that you left going cold.....

Just seen this on the big screen again - flawless How DC have ended up releasing the recent dross that they have is beyond me

Great cast, interesting comic style story, well paced, some twists, decent special effects, good acting and a really exciting film, beautifully filmed and produced Seems to me that the creators and makers are comic fans, which is what these need The opposite? All the DC films except wonder woman, until they released the most recent superman....

I cannot understand high reviews on this film. Superman is weak - physically, spiritually and in the lines he is given. He is a fine actor, but this superman is not super. The remaining cast are in two categories - bearable and banal - the dog, Lex, Mr Terrific and Lois are bearable and ALL the others are utterly pointless. Perry White, Jimmy, Mr & Mrs Kent, Kal's parents, woman with boobs hanging out (I didn't check the credits) Green Lantern, Hawk Girk and so on are just without any discernible use. Honestly, just pointless. Think back to the comedy of Hackmans Lex v Reeves Superman: how good that Lois was, the importance of Ms Teschmacher, Otto and the originality in script - why did that succeed, where this fails? It stuck to the characters from the comic, not some daft, still indulgent, humourless interpretation. I gave 2 stars for Krypto and the special effects, some of which are stunning. If you want to know how this should be done, then watch the 1970s original: the director of this should have.

Wonderfully filmed, excellent score and the cars/sets etc were excellent It is a rather predictable film but nonetheless easily fills 2.5 hours of your day Do NOT wait to see this at home unless of course you have a home cinema - a property one!! I wanted 3.5 🌟 but for the filming, score and sound production it gets 4 🌟

This film makes me melancholy that our boys had to grow up - it is absolutely perfect and I wish for the days 20+ years ago when we had to watch it everyday...... then read the books at bed...... then reenact scenes with the toys...... then talk in Stitch's voice... ..
