I’ve been listening to Underworld since the mid-90’s. I must have been having a good time, or in the proper mindset, because I don’t feel “cheated” on this release. There’s a ton of great, authentic sounding Underworld tracks that I have already favorited and listened to repeatedly. This sounds like some of their earlier processes of making music has come through here, without it being a repeat. On the first listen,
some lyrics appear to be improvised on the spot, but this disappears with repeated listens. Still many moments still sound candid, like what sounds like a spoken mishap on King of Haarlem hilariously left in.
Listen to Lewis in Pomona walking on a sunny day - it will embolden you to achieve greatness and enjoy life. “Hilo Sky” makes shameless dedication to the dance floor align to your moral principles. These are the tracks we need to fuel us, like so many have in the past.
