Craigs swansong is the best of his tenure since Casino Royale which reimagined Bond for a self consciouly dark, for real character. On its own terms its a triumphant if over long expeŕience. Never has a Bond film been so dialogue heavy and conflicted with a desire to chastise its heritage but at the same time to just entertain. Despite DC's acting chops he cannot deliver a one liner like Sean or Roger. The suits are so tight he looks like a doorman at a bling nightclub. In all it was too self serious, lacking panache for me. I guess I was not made for these times.
